Originally emerging as a film sound editor from Istanbul, Duru has recently graduated from Arts University Bournemouth with a BA Hons in Film Production (Sound), ready to start working in primarily theatrical sound roles. She is a sound designer with a great interest avant-garde and industrial theatre, working closely with composers to create ambient and atmospheric soundscapes. She is confident in her sound programming skills on QLab, and is a Certified Avid ProTools Specialist.
Driven sound designer, operator and creative with a keen ear for detail and emotion. She offers an ambitious approach towards building soundscapes up from its most intricate perspectives and points of audition, collaborating with the creative team to provide your story with human sentience. She is ready to develop technical expertise and experience in an assisting position to improve innovation and collaboration skills.
